- February 2026:QUATS test strips were not available. Staff were not able to find one. The facility uses QUATS sanitizer as well as chlorine sanitizer in the dishwasher and iodine in the bar glasswasher.Chlorine (bleach) jug was present in the storage area.Correction:1. Education provided on 3 different sanitizers in the facility (chlorine, QUATS, and iodine)2. Recommended using the chlorine (bleach) instead of QUATS so that chlorine test strips can be used for both the dishwasher and sanitizer solution.3. If QUATS is used as the sanitizer, ensure that there are QUATS test trips available to test its concentration.4. Alberta Health Services approved sanitizer information to be sent to the operator.

- Clear spray bottles with pink/red QUATS sanitizer were unlabeled.One unlabeled QUATS spray bottle was observed right next to a pickle juice container.Correction:-Ensure that all spray bottles containing sanitizers are clearly marked as 'Sanitizers'-Ensure that any chemicals, cleansers, or similar products used in the facility are clearly labeled for their contents.

Until then use the dishwasher in the kitchen to sanitize glasses.Feb 28, 2025 update:The bar the washer was serviced but since then there was a problem with the pump and it is not operational. Currently are washing glasses from the bar in the dishwasher in the kitchen.August 20, 2025: operator indicated that the facility is switching from chlorine-based glasswasher to iodine glass washer.
