    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • 1. Several pieces of equipment throughout the daycare were observed with tape on them. 2. Three ceiling tiles in the baby room were observed to be water stained. 3. The plastic light switch plate in the girl's washroom was observed to be in disrepair. 1. Ensure tape is removed to render the surface smooth and easy to clean.2. Ensure the indicated tiles are replaced.3. Ensure the indicated switch plate is replaced to be smooth and easy to clean.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • In the preschool room, a plastic sink on a kitchen toy was observed with several cracks. Ensure play equipment is maintained to be smooth, easy to clean and in good repair. The operator removed the indicated toy sink during the inspection.
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • In the preschool room, the water table lid was observed to be in disrepair, with two pieces of duct tape positioned over cracks. Ensure the indicated lid is replaced or the water table is removed to ensure the surface is smooth and easily cleanable.

      • Toddler Room - three cubbies in the toddler room were not secure and could tip over. Please secure.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • OSC - ceiling tiles in the OSC women's bathroom were water stained. Please ensure that there are no active leaks and replace water stained ceiling tiles.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Preschool Room - the zigzag cover on the chair was not removable for cleaning. Please modify, remove or replace. All materials should be cleanable or able to be laundered.

      • Kinder Room - the hinge on the wooden storage bench was broken. Repair required.Kinder room - several broken puzzle boxes were noted.       • OSC - the paper towel dispenser in the OSC was missing. Please ensure that the paper towel is placed on a dispenser.

      • Preschool Room/Toddler Room - the glass mirror in the preschool room was not secure from tipping. Removal of this item is recommended. Acrylic shatterless mirrors are preferred in children's play areas.Preschool Room - cleaning cloths were being reused and were sitting out, wet. Cleaning cloths may be used once and placed in the laundry, or placed in a sanitizing solution out of the reach of children.Preschool Room - The paper towel located in the room did not have a dispenser. Dispenser required.Toddler Room - the bottle brush in the toddler room was taped and requires replacement so that it is smooth and cleanable.
