      • Observation(s): • Cheese display was holding some cheeses >4C. Health Officers used thermal gun and probe thermometers and found temps varied around unit from <4C to >4C. Some areas where cheeses were double/triple stacked were outside of temperature range. Have staff monitor and adjust as needed to ensure all cheeses are kept <4C. • Staff member advised they would monitor. Please advise Health Officer on date noted above with regards to cheese display cooler layout and temperatures.
      • F1.2B Potentially hazardous foods must be stored or displayed at a temperature of 4 °C (40 °F) or colder.
    • F2.5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
      • Observation(s): • Store - have staff sweep under product shelves, food product/packaging noted below various display shelves in store • Bakery - donut fillers stored on a towel - towel cannot be easily cleaned and sanitized - have staff store on a stainless steel or plastic tray that can be cleaned/sanitized/ran through dishwasher. • Meat department display coolers - please clean/replaced under wire shelving drip pads (w/in this month/end of January).
      • F2.5A All equipment, utensils and food contact surfaces used on the premises must be kept in good working order to ensure the sanitary handling of food.
      • F2.5B The premises must be properly constructed and maintained in good, clean and sanitary condition.

    I absolutely love going to Fresh Market! Every time I visit, I’m thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. Atmosphere & Cleanliness: The entire place is exceptionally clean and perfectly organized, making it so easy to find exactly what you need. The Food: The real star of the show is their in-house sushi. It is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and honestly keeps me coming back again and again! Service & Perks: The staff here are wonderfully kind and always happy to help. I also love that they offer free drinking water for everyone; it's a small but incredibly thoughtful touch that goes a long way. Highly recommend checking them out!

    Fresh St. Market in Kamloops is easily one of the best grocery stores in town. The store is always clean, well organized, and stocked with a great selection of fresh produce, high-quality meats, and unique specialty items you can’t usually find in regular supermarkets. The bakery and deli sections are especially impressive. The staff are friendly, helpful, and clearly take pride in keeping the store running smoothly. It’s also a great place to find local products and fresh prepared meals when you want something quick but still high quality. Overall, it’s a fantastic shopping experience every time. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for fresh ingredients and great service.

    Fantastic market!!! Wish more places would follow provide such an abundance of ready made meal options which both adults and children and choose from. My young daughter was very happy with what she picked out (upscale school bag lunch) and said the sandwich was amazing. Kids don't lie!!
