      • There were dishes and cutlery in the hand sink. Operator immediately removed the items from the sink.

      • The ventilation hood was past its service date.Please ensure that the ventilation hood is maintained.

      • There was a build-up of food and debris under the shelves to the left in the kitchen. Please ensure that the indicated areas are cleaned.

      • Floor mats were left in the 3-compartment sink in the pizza hut area and were moved during the inspection. Do not clean floor mats in the food handling sink as this can lead to cross contamination; use the janitorial sink in the restaurant. Discussed proper sanitizing of sink area before use for food related items.

      • Ventilation canopy cleaning sticker was outdated. Cleaning was due in December 2023, but unit may have been serviced since then.If the unit has been cleaned, please provide proof to inspector.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Stand up cooler has water or spill on the bottom. Operator indicated coolers are cleaned every Tuesday, so it will be addressed immediately. Ensure that this cooler is monitored as the liquid may be from a leak.

      • Hard to reach areas under heavy equipment require more cleaning. Food debris and grime were noted under heavy prep tables. Food splatter and build up was noted in prep cooler and on prep cooler handles. Staff indicated that they will address the cleaning immediately. Comprehensive cleaning schedule present.
