- Written procedures were not available for skin cleansing, skin antisepsis or post service care. - 10. Is cleansing and antisepsis of skin and mucous membrane performed in accordance to written procedures and are suitable products being used?
- Skin cleansing is being conducted prior to electrolysis but skin antisepsis is not. A skin antisepsis step is required prior to electrolysis, microneedling and PMU.
- 30. Is the reprocessing area of a personal service facility that uses reusable equipment properly designed, managed and maintained to ensure the safety of clients?
- The reprocessing sink was located in a washroom. The only items reprocessed are non-critical tweezers. A dedicated reprocessing sink must be installed in a room that does not contain a toilet or switch to single use tweezers.
