      • A scoop was found inside the container of rice and flour. This was promptly removed by operator when informed. Please ensure all scoops are stored out of food ingredients to prevent contamination.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • A bowl of egg was observed to be placed above the fill line in the prep cooler. This was removed by the operator when instructed. Please ensure all food are below the fill line in the prep coolers to allow for proper temperature control.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control record was not up to date. The last seen record during inspection was February 2025. Please keep a monthly pest control record to allow for proper monitoring of pest activity.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Expired food handling permit observed posted. Please replace with the most recent permit.

      • The ice maker was observed to require cleaning as dirt build up was present in the inner surface of the machine. Please clean .

      • Chlorine test strips were observed to be expired. ** Provide suitable test strips.

      • Records showed that the last pest control measures conducted in the facility was in September 2024, which is not sufficient.** Have at minimum monthly pest control measures in place. Facility can continue to depend on the AHS-monthly pest control checklist. ** Please note that in cases of infestations a certified professional should be contacted for adequate treatment, and records of all treatments should be available onsite for review upon request.

      • Chlorine sanitizer was measured at 0ppm. Once notified, the sanitizer was adjusted to 100ppm.

      • Bottles containing chlorine sanitizer were not labelled during the inspection. Once notified, proper labelling was conducted.

Operator noted that repairs will be conducted by Thursday, February 8, 2024. ** Ensure the areas is also smooth, non-absorbent, and easy-to-clean. 2. Significant accumulation of grease was observed on ventilation hood. ** Conduct deep cleaning of the areas listed above. 2023-05-03Cupboard is still in poor repair from previous (water damage & broken hinge).
