      • Observation(s): CORRECTED AT TIME OF INSPECTION - hot held potentially hazard food was found to be at 49C-52C internal temperature. Operator had stated this food had been placed in the morning at or before 11 AM. Observed potentially hazardous foods on ice bath at 5C-7C on top of refrigeration unit at less than 4C.
      • F1.2A Potentially hazardous foods must be stored or displayed at a temperature of 60 °C (140 °F) or hotter.
      • F1.2B Potentially hazardous foods must be stored or displayed at a temperature of 4 °C (40 °F) or colder.

    DELICIOUS! We went as a group of 4 and LOVED the environment - the space is relaxed and fun! It took a bit to get a table with no reservation but considering how busy it was the wait wasn’t too bad at all. The service was great. The cocktails were yummy. We ordered the meat and side samplers (can’t remember if this is what it was called) and it pretty much allowed us to try the menu! One must have the burnt ends if coming here - I will forever think about this meat with the Mac and cheese - best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had!!!!

    Amazing food, great beer selection, and such a fun spot! I really love the patio. The beer options on tap are fantastic, and our favourite was definitely the 5 Hawkins so good! We also tried the brisket mac and cheese and the bacon pineapple bites, and both were absolutely delicious. Everything was flavourful, hearty, and perfectly done. Definitely a must-visit in Kelowna if you’re looking for great food and a solid selection of beers!

    Loved our dinner here. Attentive staff, incredible meat, fun choices, so tasty and saucy. Served family style. Lots of good beer choices which was a nice change from the wine tastings of the day. We were able to enjoy the canadiens winning and mourn the raptors losing. The brisket was worth it, though the pulled pork was fabulous. Enjoyed the yams and broccoli too. Queso was as stellar!! Felt a little like Disneyland;)

    Honestly 5/5 for the atmosphere of this place. I’ve been here 3 times because I enjoy the family style picnic tables outside or the saloon style ambiance inside. It’s a cool place check out if you’re visiting. Their entire menu is bbq which is not my favourite but is good for bbq. They do have some vegetarian options although based on the salad I had, can’t really recommend. Beer was also served cold. Also tried a mezcal margarita which was delicious (as long as you like Mezcal). Bbq bacon bites (4/5) however super small portion of bacon compared to pineapple. corn arugula salad (2/5) dressing was super tart. Brisket sandwich (3/5) nothing special.

    I’ve been here a half dozen times and the experience is very consistent. Meats are done very well. The brisket is great. Burnt ends are glorious and are the item to order here. Ribs are way too seasoned and not good IMO. Sides are very lacking in the vegetable department. Potato salad is boring. Pickles are lacking. Mac and cheese is really good. Yams are smoked which makes the whole meal Smokey. Cornbread is okay. What I would love to see: green beans, creamed beans, creamed corn, grits, okra, how about texas toast? Overall you come for meat and beer and the atmosphere. This makes it different to frequent.
