      • 1. Written procedures for skin cleansing, antiseptic application, in an event of accidental cut or puncture and sink decontamination were not available during the inspection.-Please provide the indicated written procedures.2. Post care instructions for client that undergo inversive procedure such as piercing was not available onsite.-Please develop and provide verbal and printed copy of the post care instructions to such clients.

      • High-level disinfectant was not available onsite during the inspection.-Please provide and use high-level disinfectant such as preempt CS20 or HLD5 to disinfect reusable semi-critical equipment such as nail clippers and cuticle remover.-If the high-level disinfectant is being used for more than one day, provide suitable test strip to monitor the disinfectant concentration and document test result.
    • 21. Is equipment that is intended to be sterile maintained sterile at the point of use?
      • Prepackaged sterile piercing studs/system available onsite had no sterility assurance documentation or manufacturer's information printed on them.-Please provide piercing system/studs with sterility assurance documentation such as lot number, expiration date and manufacturer's information.

      • Worn treatment chair was observed onsite.-Please repair or replace the indicated chair to ensure all facility's surfaces are properly and disinfected.
