      • Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Paddle for scooping rice was stored in a container of ambient temperature water.
      • Corrective Action(s): Rice paddle must be stored on ice OR kept dry. This is to prevent microbial growth on the paddle from leftover rice.

      • Observation: Rodent droppings observed in the following areas:
      • 1) Boiler room
      • 2) Under the warewashing sink
      • 3) Behind/around the ice machine
      • 4) Around the chest freezer
      • 5) Along the floor-wall junction in the hallway leading to the back door
      • Corrective Action(s): Remove all droppings, clean and sanitize with bleach solution. Seal any crevices in the floor-wall junction.

      • Observation: Screen for the back door is in poor condition. Gaps exist around the edge of the door frame, and the mesh screen in the centre is not in place.
      • Small gap also found around electrical wires coming down from the ceiling on the right handside of the back door.
      • Corrective Action(s): Repair the screendoor so that there are no gaps. Otherwise the back door must remain closed AT ALL times.
      • Seal all gaps that may allow pest entry.
