      • A metal pipe labelled “Pool Heat” was observed to be leaking water. Water from the leak was being collected in a small red bucket. The operator is advised to repair the leak and inspect the surrounding piping and equipment in the mechanical room to ensure there are no additional leaks.

      • The flow meter was broken. The operator is advised to replace the flow meter with a properly functioning unit.Please send a photo of the flow meter once installed.

      • 1. The pool skimmers were observed to be missing their floating weirs or floating ring. The operator is recommended to install the appropriate floating weirs. It is effective for surface skimming and helps prevent debris from returning to the pool. 2. The skimmers were also observed to have an accumulation of scum-like material. The operator is advised to thoroughly clean the skimmers and maintain them in a clean condition.

      • The main drain was visible, but the water was slightly cloudy. Some sand accumulation was observed on the bottom of the pool basin. The operator was advised to vacuum the pool basin to remove the accumulated sand. If sand accumulation reoccurs following cleaning, the operator is advised to inspect the filtration system to determine whether sand is escaping from the filter. Check filter laterals for possible cracking, or deterioration. Appropriate corrective action should be taken based on the condition of the filter.
