- Observation: Operator has added a partition beside the butcher area.
- Corrective Action(s): Please remove the partition until Fraser Health approval has been granted.
- Operator has submitted an updated floor plan to convert the area behind the cashier into a processing area for repackaging food and spices, however, approval has not been granted.
- The district inspector will discuss this further with the operator, but this area will not be approved for ready-to-eat food processing as it is too close in proximity to the butcher shop and has a higher risk for potential cross contamination.

- Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Noted multiple bags of spices and dried goods portioned into smaller packages for resale. As noted in the routine inspection report, this facility is ONLY permitted to sell prepackaged food. Do not repackage process or cook any food at this facility without Fraser Health's approval. Picture evidence collected.
- Corrective Action(s): Staff started to remove these repackaged spices and goods off the retail shelves.
- Operator is NOT permitted to repackage food at this facility.
- Either find a permitted or approved facility to repackage food or purchase already prepackaged goods.
- A second follow-up inspection will be conducted on September 8, 2025 to confirm all repackaged goods have been removed.

- Observation: The following were observed in the customer display coolers:
- 1. Noted 8 containers of fresh cream with no label or information.
- 2. Noted 9 containers of mixed pickles with no label or information.
- 3. 13 flats of eggs (30 eggs/ flat) were observed with no label or information.
- Corrective Action(s): Spoke to the operator on the phone during the inspection. Operator confirmed that the fresh cream and mixed pickles were made onsite, however no cooking equipment is noted on site nor has the facility been approved to prepare food. The 8 containers of fresh cream and 9 containers of soup were discarded by the staff during the inspection.
- At this time, operator MUST STOP preparing food at this facility or any other unapproved facility for public sale. At this time, the operator is not approved to preparing food at this facility based on their current floor plan/ layout.
- The 13 flats of eggs have been placed on hold until the operator can submit invoices for the eggs for review. Do not remove the held tag and sell the eggs until the hold has been lifted by the district inspector. Please submit the invoices to the district inspector's email by tonight or tomorrow for review.
