Inspection summary
Husky Princeton has been inspected 6 times by Interior Health Authority since February 15, 2017. The most recent inspection, on March 9, 2026, recorded 1 infraction.
1 of 6 inspections on record found no infractions at all. In the past 12 months there was 1 inspection with 1 infraction recorded. The higher-risk findings here relate to: Handwashing and staff hygiene, Cleaning and sanitizing and Food temperature control.
Recent inspections have recorded fewer infractions than earlier ones, so the record is improving.
What these findings mean
Health authorities word their violations differently, so we group them by what they mean for food safety. Higher-risk findings are the ones inspectors treat as critical, because they can directly make someone sick.
Handwashing and staff hygieneHigher risk
Hands are the main way germs like norovirus move from people to food. Inspectors look for stocked, accessible handwashing sinks, staff washing hands when required, hair restraints, and sick employees being kept away from food. Gaps here can spread illness quickly.
Recorded 3 times across 3 separate inspections, most recently on July 7, 2022. For example:
7 Are there handwashing stations available and properly supplied?
Cleaning and sanitizingHigher risk
Anything that touches food, such as cutting boards, dishes and utensils, must be washed, rinsed and sanitized. Inspectors check dishwasher temperatures, sanitizer strength and how wiping cloths are stored. Poor sanitizing lets bacteria survive from one use to the next.
Recorded 2 times across 2 separate inspections, most recently on July 7, 2022. For example:
3 Are food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment washed and sanitized in a manner that removes/prevents contamination?
Food temperature controlHigher risk
Bacteria multiply fastest between about 4 °C and 60 °C (40 °F to 140 °F). Inspectors check that cold food stays cold, hot food stays hot, cooked food is cooled quickly, and that staff have accurate thermometers. Temperature problems are one of the most common causes of food poisoning, so these are treated as critical findings.
Recorded once on March 9, 2026. For example:
2 Are proper temperature controls maintained to ensure safe storage and display of foods?
Protecting food from contaminationHigher risk
This covers how food is stored, prepared and displayed: raw meat kept away from ready-to-eat food, food covered and stored off the floor, and nothing dripping or splashing into it. Cross-contamination from raw to cooked food is a direct route for salmonella and E. coli.
Recorded once on October 3, 2019. For example:
5 Are the premises and equipment properly maintained and operated in a sanitary manner (i.e. ongoing maintenance)?
Building, plumbing and upkeepLower risk
Floors, walls and ceilings must be smooth and clean, with working lighting, ventilation, plumbing, hot and cold water, and washrooms. These are rarely an immediate food-safety risk on their own, but persistent problems can lead to pest or sanitation issues.
Recorded once on October 3, 2019. For example:
6 Are the premises designed and equipped to ensure safe food handling?

The sliding glass door cooler furthest away from the "dairy" cooler and the white refrigerator observed with the lowest ambient temp. All potentially hazardous foods were transferred to those coolers. Ensure that the "dairy" cooler is not used store and display potentially hazardous foods until the cooler has been repaired or replaced. The gas station/store had pretty much the basic supplies that one would need even though it was fairly small inside. The cashier was kind and helpful. I stop by early in the morning and I secretly wished I could’ve had purchased something there for breakfast but they don’t exactly cater to breakfast in the gas station so I grabbed a cheese stick and a pepperoni stick and I was on my way.

At 3am I was greeted with a smile and friendly locals, the washroom was immaculate and the general atmosphere was nice and refreshing. Exactly what I needed. Highly recommend.

Awesome gas station stop with kind and supportive staff. They only take payments for gas from inside the store, and the bathroom was so clean and well kept. We were very impressed

Its awesome to say the least. Slushie machine is always up and running. Staff are not very talkative which i actually prefer. They do their jobs quickly and efficiently. Also an excellent place for semi drivers to sit and rest if chevron is full.
