- 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
- Meat that was labelled "NOT FOR SALE" was stored in a freezer with items that were for sale for customers. When inquired, the operator indicated that was for staff only and was promptly moved to another refrigeration unit that was inaccessible to the public. Please ensure all staff items/food products are kept separate from products for sale to the public.
- 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
- The hand sink was not equipped with hand soap and paper towel at the time of the inspection. This was corrected during the inspection.Please ensure the hand sink is always fully equipped with soap and paper towel.
