      • Several tiles in the OSC room, preschool room, and kindergarten room were observed to be in disrepair with some tiles missing or bulging from what appears to be water damage. Please ensure the indicated tiles are replaced and any moisture issues are investigated.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Two fabric chairs in the OSC room were observed with large rips in the seats.Ensure the indicated chairs are removed, replaced or fitted with covers to ensure the surface remains cleanable.

      • ** Kinder room - spray bottle in the room was not properly labelled with its contents. Please label appropriately.** Baby Room - bleach solution was not properly labelled.

      • ** Kinder room - toilet bowl cleaner was present in the bathroom. ** Preschool room - Personal staff items such as a purse and jacket were within children's reach. Please ensure staff personal items are stored out of the reach of children.

      • ** Kinder room - door trim was missing. Please repair.

      • *Cleaning of toys and general play area required in the Kinder room (ww121). > Outstanding Nov 04 2024.Noted Nov 04 2024:** Some toys and equipment throughout the program were in disrepair or visibly soiled. Please clean, repair or remove the toys as needed, namely:1) OSC - mini poll table broken and difficult to clean. Please remove.2) OSC - Puzzle mats were not in good repair and not in a clean condition. Please remove or replace.3) Some tape on the floor throughout the classrooms was not in good repair or easily cleanable.4) OSC - the window ledges had exposed wood and were not easily cleanable.5) Kinder - Some of the yellow gorilla blocks were in disrepair. Please remove.6) Kinder - Little people castle was in visible dirty. Better toy cleaning required for large items.7) Kinder - the stool in the bathroom was broken and dirty. Removal or replacement required.8) Kinder - the black computer chair was in disrepair and foam was exposed on the seat. Please remove from use.9) Carpets throughout the program require regular, frequent steam cleaning.10) Toddler - paint was peeling off the brown wooden shelf. Refinishing required.11) Toddler - the left corner of the white shelving (closest to the door) was coming out of the wall. Repair required.12) Baby - The finish was worn on the light brown shelving units. Refinishing required.13) Baby - play mobile (under the sea theme) cannot be properly laundered. Please remove from use.14) Preschool Room - bathroom fan was observed to be dusty and requires cleaning.15) OSC - The thermometer in the fridge was not properly operational.

      • ** OSC - hot was too hot, measured to be approx. 55C.Preschool Room - hot water measured at 54.6C** Kinder - low water pressure at the kinder bathroom faucet.** Kinder - There was no hot water available at the bathroom faucet in the kinder room.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • ** Kinder room - the toilet paper was not properly on the dispenser. ** Preschool room - Paper towel dispenser beginning to come out of the wall. Repair required.** Kinder room - no bag was available in the waste receptacle. Please replace.** Toddler room - no bag was available in the waste receptacle.**

      • **Outstanding as of July 19, 2023. *South corner play area wall in the OSC room (ww102) was not smooth and easily cleanable/maintained. The wall will require repainting.

      • *Cleaning of toys and general play area required in the Kinder room (ww121).
    • 20. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Non-Critical)?
      • *The duct tape in the Toddler room (ww107) ball pit was visibly worn and will need to be replaced.
