      • Some antiseptic alcohol wipes were accessible to children under the sink in pre-school room.Concern was discussed and corrected during the inspection.Alcohol wipes were stored in the top shelf inaccessible to children.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Handwashing in the toddler room had mouthed toy bins stored in it. Concerns were discussed and corrected during the inspection.

    • 03. Are clients at this facility being protected from hazards (Critical)?
      • 1. Upstairs classroom: One of the shelves was unstable. Please ensure all furniture is properly secured. Staff moved the shelf against the wall to make it secure. 2. ECS classroom: Bingo dabbers without nontoxic claim were accessible to the children. Please ensure art supplies are non-toxic.Staff removed the bingo dabbers from the classroom.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Children's personal bedding items were in contact with one another during storage. Please ensure each child's bedding is stored separately without touching others.
    • 32. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Cleaning rags were hung on the faucet. Please ensure the following:- cleaning rags are used only once and then disposed of or laundered. This prevents cross-contamination and bacterial spread. - place clearly labeled bins in each classroom for used rags

      • Some items are missing from the first aid kits, update your content list as per the CSA standard z1220-17 Type 2 Basic Small First Aid kit.Items to add include CPR barrier device, emergency warming blanket, garbage bag.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • Both items were corrected during inspection:1. Chlorine sanitizer bottle located in 3-4.5yr old room was measuring @50 ppm. Corrected to 100 ppm.2. Chlorine sanitizer bottle located in washroom cabinet was unlabelled. Corrected.

    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Some used wet wiping cloths were sitting at sinks and were being reused throughout the day. - Do not reuse wiping cloths but change them after each use. One bleach spray bottle had strong "cleaner" smell. - Do not mix bleach and cleaner together as saniztier loses its strength.
