      • 1. The alcohol wipes within the first aid kit were expired. **Obtain new alcohol wipes.2. There was no emergency blanket in the first aid kits. **Obtain at least 1 emergency blanket for the first aid kit.
    • 17. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Critical)?
      • 1. The bleach solution was measured at a concentration of 1000ppm. **The disinfectant was discarded and re-made to a concentration of 100ppm. **To make 100ppm of bleach solution dilute 1/2 (2mL) a teaspoon of bleach in 1 liter of water. Ensure that a test strip is used to verify the disinfectant's concentration. **Using sanitizer above the recommended concentration can leave chemical residues on surfaces that children eat from and touch, exposing them to the risk of chemical ingestion and irritation.2. There were no test strips available/accessible onsite to verify the concentration of diluted bleach solution.**Obtain chlorine test strips.

Wicker baskets are currently in use to store toys and art material. **Wicker baskets are not durable, easily cleanable, and non-absorbent. **If the baskets will be used for storing clean and disinfected toys, then the baskets must be lined with a detachable liner that can be removed and laundered according to toy washing schedules. **If the baskets are used for storing arts and crafts materials, you must ensure that the baskets are well-maintained with no protruding sharp edges and that the baskets are inaccessible to children. 2. The table and four wooden chairs need to be painted, as their surfaces are not smooth, absorbent, and difficult to clean.**Repaint or refinish the wood, ensuring that all surfaces are smooth, non-absorbent, and easy to clean.
