    • 09. Is the pool premises maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • Water damage on the ceiling by the west wall was repaired however water damage was noted on sill of the west window and mold on walls was noted next to the emergency door. Adequately remediate the damaged drywall and clean/repair damaged surfaces. Ensure proper requirements are followed when removing and remediating and moldy or water damaged materials.
    • 09. Is the pool premises maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • Condensation was still noted in the facility however due to the current temperature outside there wasn't as much buildup. Operations manager confirmed that the dehumidification unit is not operational and is in disrepair. Provide a copy of the report from the HVAC contractor. OM stated they are determining if repairs or replacement is the best course of action. Confirm timeframe for dehumidifier and HVAC repairs/replacement.
    • 10. Are proper testing, monitoring, and other records being properly maintained?
      • The updated testing logs do not have a location to document the dry sauna temperatures. The ambient temperature must be documented once daily for each the men's and women's dry sauna. Provide a copy of the testing log sheet and ensure ambient temperature results are being documented.

    • 06. Has an owner or owner's agent, if any, been identified and is the pool operated and maintained by a qualified pool operator?
      • There is no certified pool operator onsite at time of inspection. The only certified operator overseeing the pool is at the facility on Mondays. The previous certified pool operator was the operations manager for the site and is now no longer working for the company. A certified pool operator must be in place within 90 days.

      • Excessive condensation and pooled water was noted on the windows and window frames. Check to ensure that the dehumidification system is working correctly and HVAC system is operating within its designed parameters.

      • Staff are not testing and documenting the dry sauna temperatures for both men's and women's changerooms. The ambient temperature must be documented once daily. Ensure it is being documented.

      • Water damagge on the ceiling by the west wall was still noted. Repairs and repainting to some water damage was noted however mold and algae growth was still noted on walls and next to the emergency door. Investigate cause of water infiltration and cause of water damage. Adequately remediate the damaged drywall and clean/repair damaged surfaces. Ensure proper requirements are followed when removing and remediating and moldy or water damaged materials.

      • Water damage was noted on the ceiling and along the wall near the west window. Mold and algae growth was noted on walls and next to the emergency door. Also noted was water damage on wall around return air vent on the north wall next to the window. Investigate cause of water infiltration and cause of water damage. Adequately remediate the damaged drywall and clean/repair damaged surfaces. Ensure proper requirements are followed when removing and remediating and moldy or water damaged materials.

    • 04. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this pool premises (Non-Critical)?
      • The disinfectant in the women's only workout area was being filled with the wrong product. Replaced onsite.

      • The following sanitation and repair concerns were observed:-Tiles were broken/missing in the shower area in both change rooms.-The same hair elastic and hair pin were observed on the floor under the benches in the sauna on March 21 and April 15-Some of the fitness equipment appeared dusty and dirty.

      • The following sanitation concerns were observed:-The vents in the women's change rooms and shower areas were coated in dust-The women's floor drain in the shower area was grimy-Tiles were broken/missing in the shower area in both change rooms.

      • The following sanitation concerns were observed:-Men's sauna had a build-up of dirt and grime under the benches. -The vents in both men's and women's change rooms and shower areas were coated in dust-The grout on the ceiling tile in the men's shower area had black specks that appeared to be mould growth. -The women's floor drain in the shower area was grimy-Tiles were broken/missing in the shower area in both change rooms.

    • 09. Is the pool premises maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • Discoloration and build up noted around the trench drains on the north side of the pool basin and around drains between the whirlpool and pool. Conduct deep cleaning in this area to remove the build up noted.

      • Operations manager does not currently have pool operator training. OM confirmed that they are registered for a course in early May. Once completed forward confirmation of certification.

      • Dry sauna temperatures have not been measured for the months of April and some of March. Ensue the dry sauna ambient temperature is measured and documented in the daily logs.

    • 09. Is the pool premises maintained in a clean and sanitary condition, good repair and are temperatures being properly regulated?
      • 1. While cleanup of the hair noted on the floor grate was completed additional debris and garbage was noted on deck. Also noted what appeared to be mud smeared along the edge of the hallway floor along the side of the wall. Clean and remove the debris on the deck grates.2. Heavy calcium buildup and discoloration was noted along the pool deck between the exterior window and pool. Begin working on removing the build up on the tile. 2. Dry sauna ambient temperature in the men's change room was at between 62 to 72C. Check the set points to ensure the unit ambient temperature does not exceed 85C and that the time does turn off the heat element in the dry sauna.

      • 1. There was hair and debris noted on the floor grates around the pool basin. Clean and remove the debris on the deck grates.2. Dry sauna temperature in the men's change room was at exactly 85C. Check the set points to ensure the unit ambient temperature does not exceed 85C.
