      • Dirty dishes were observed in the designated handwashing sink. Ensure the designated handwashing sink is only used for handwashing. The operator relocated the indicated dirty dishes during the inspection.

      • 1. The sink counter water-damaged and rotten and the finish was peeled off. Please repair the affected areas.

      • The concentration of the chlorine was at 50 ppm (too low) in the sink used for dish sanitization during the manual dishwashing. It was addressed during the inspection. Ensure that the chlorine concentration is over 100 ppm.
    • 11. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Critical)?
      • Improper steps of manual dishwashing was observed: the dishes were washed, sanitized and then rinsed - one sink was filled with soapy water and the other with chlorine bleach sanitizer. Ensure that the dishes are washed with soapy water, rinsed with clean water and then sanitizer with chlorine solution and air dried.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • No pest control records were available since September 2024. Please ensure that pest control records are maintained.Note: pest monitoring traps observed in the facility did not show pests activity.

      • 1. The sink counter water-damaged and rotten and the finish was peeled off. Please repair the affected areas.2. The sink cabinet shelf was water-damaged and not clean. Please repair/replace affected areas.

      • Laundry was conducted in the kitchen storage/laundry room during food preparation, and the room was not separated from the kitchen (no door).

      • No test strips were available to test concentration of the disinfectant. Obtain appropriate test strips.

      • No pest control records were available since 2022.

      • Water stains were observed on the ceiling in the kitchen storage/laundry room. Investigate and remove source of water infiltration and replace affected tiles.
