    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • Single-use gloves were observed without a protective plastic bag to help prevent cross-contamination. Ensure items in the first aid kit are adequately protected from potential contamination. During the inspection, the operator placed the gloves into a Ziploc bag.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • The blue bench near the front entrance was observed with paint wearing. Ensure the indicated bench is sealed and/or painted to be smooth and easy to clean.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The faucet on the handwashing sink closest to the boy's washroom entrance was observed to be loose. Ensure faucets are maintained in good repair to help facilitate effective handwashing practices. The operator tightened the indicated faucet during the inspection.

      • The chlorine bleach disinfectant bottle was unlabeled. It was addressed during the inspection.
    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Ceiling tiles were stained/ water damaged. Please investigate and remove the source of water infiltration and replace the affected ceiling tiles.
    • 10. Is a properly supplied first aid kit provided and readily available?
      • No antiseptic wipes were available in the first aid kit. Please obtain new antiseptic wipes.
    • 16. Does the social care facility have adequate lighting?
      • Three light fixtures were not in operation. Please repair or replace affected light fixtures.
