      • Arts and Craft material considered toxic to the young kids (Bingo markers) were observed in the facility.They were discarded at the time of inspection.** Check to ensure that all the arts and craft material used in the childcare facility are labelled non-toxic should display the AP (Approved Product) Seal from the Art & Creative Materials Institute (ACMI) **.
    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Following concerns were noted with regards to diapering at the time of inspection:1) Diapering mat was torn.2) No safety belt to secure the child.3) Test papers to test the sanitizer concentration were ineffective.** Make sure to replace the diapering pad and follow the AHS guidelines for proper diapering procedures.Keep diapering procedures accessible for staff reference.

      • The storage shelves used in the pre-school area were in disrepair.Ensure to repair or replace the indicated shelves.

      • Playdough prepared onsite with untreated flour. Ensure flour is heat treated to internal temperature minimum 160 deg F (ie. 350 deg F oven for @10 mins)

      • First aid kit stored in the main area was missing a CPR barrier valve.

      • Toys are sanitized with a spray sanitizer instead of immersion in sanitizer solution. Ensure sanitizing step for toys are completed by immersing in prepared sanitizer solution for 2 mins and then air dried
