      • High-touch areas such as cooler handles and sink taps have a build-up of grime and food debris on them. Please clean and sanitize the high-touch areas on equipment.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • (Outstanding violation)1) The ceiling and wall by the ceiling track were heavily grease laden. Please clean these areas and add them to a regular cleaning schedule. 2) The floor around the grease trap under the dishwashing sinks had a build-up of grime and debris. Please clean this area and add to a regular cleaning schedule.

      • Bean sprouts and other cut vegetables were left sitting out at room temperature. Bean sprouts and cut vegetables are perishable and must be kept under refrigeration. The items were placed back in the cooler at the time of the inspection.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?

      • One dead adult German cockroach was observed on a monitoring glue board located in the front service area cupboard. An active pest control monitoring program is in place. Please continue to work with the pest control company to abate the pest issue.

      • The outside of the bulk bins and the lip around where the lid meets the bin had a build-up of grime and food debris. Please clean and sanitize the bulk bins and ensure they are regularly cleaned/sanitized.

      • 1) The ceiling and wall by the ceiling track were heavily grease laden.       • A bowl of bean sprouts were sitting on the food preparation counter with no temperature control. Bean sprouts are a high-risk food item and must be kept temperature controlled at all times. This can be done by keeping them in a cooler or storing them in an ice bath. The bean sprouts were placed in the cooler at the time of the inspection.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • The below counter preparation cooler had an ambient air temperature of 10C at the time of the inspection. Please adjust/service the cooler such that it can maintain a temperature of 4C or below.
