- The door to the outside storage shed has a gap at the bottom that can allow for pest entry. The door must be repaired to close up this gap.

- Upholstery is torn on some benches and the soft rest by the cash. This exposes the soft material underneath. This cannot be adequately cleaned and sanitized. The upholstery must be repaired or replaced.

- Cleaning schedules for the customer dining area are done using dry erase markers on laminated sheets and are erased daily, however when looking at them today cleaning was marked as done for 2 hours in the future. The laminated sheets should be cleaned at the end of the night so that they are starting fresh everyday.

- Complaint received that food handler was working while having an arm in a splint that restricted proper hand hygiene. Person was not working during the inspection.Discussed with supervisor and they will assign to non-food handling duties.

- Pressurized gas cannister was leaning up against the other cannisters and not secured properly. This is an unsafe practice. This was corrected immediately during the inspection.

- Ice machine door seal is damaged. Door seal must be replaced.

- Several burger sauces/condiments are held at room temperature for more than 2 hours. All sauces held more than 2 hours at room temperature must be discarded.

- Burger sauces are stored at room temperature. Manager indicated that company protocol was to store unopened sauces at room temperature for up to 72 hours, once opened they were stored for up to 24 hours. There has been no approval for deviation from Alberta food safety standards with respect to room temperature holding for sauces for this business. All sauces must be stored at 4C. If held at room temperature the sauce must be discarded after 2 hours. Time stamps must be used if sauces are to be held at room temperature.

Keep door closed unless actively in use.This door appears to have significant damage that may prevent adequate sealing to prevent pest entry when closed. Repair the door.
