    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • A few used foam-centered emery boards were noted stored in the bin that contained all the new emery boards. These were removed and discarded during the inspection. Please ensure that all single use items are either given to the client after use or discarded.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The facility demonstrated good procedures for cleaning and disinfecting nail equipment. The disinfectant in use is PreEmpt CS-20, which is appropriate; however, the only bottle at the store had expired in January 2024. Operator indicated that they had more at home and will bring some in. Please ensure that all disinfectants in use are within their expiry dates.
