      • No written procedures for skin cleansing prior to services and accidental cuts were available.
    • 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
      • Single-use tools (buffing blocks, toe separators nail files and mascara wands) were being reused, and they were reported to be washed between the clients. Ensure that single-use tools are discarded after each client.
    • 16. Is reusable equipment handled and stored properly (Non-Critical)?
      • Linen was not changed/washed after each client: blanket used on the waxing bed was not visibly clean and was reported to be washed once a week. Please ensure that all linen used is changed after each client.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • No records of testing of high-level disinfectant were available, and no testing of disinfectant has been conducted as required.

      • No test strips were available to test the concentration of high-level disinfectant. Obtain the appropriate strips.

      • Preempt CS20 used for tools disinfection expired on May 28, 2025. Obtain a new high-level disinfectant.
