- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- Mouse droppings were observed on the floor along the wall adjacent to the women’s washroom and on the floor behind the popcorn machine in the kitchen.- Use bleach solution to clean up mice droppings.- Store dried food and disposables in pest proof containers with lids.- Install weather stripping on entrance/exit doors connected to the kitchen. After weatherstrip installation, ensure there are no gaps on these doors to prevent pest entry.- Assess all exterior entrances of the school and fix any identified opening to prevent further pest entry into the building.
