    • 08. Is this facility properly constructed (Non-Critical)?
      • Inappropriate toy washing setup observed. A staff member was seen placing buckets on top of a filthy mop sink to clean toys. This is not an acceptable practice.Please ensure the following:- A designated and appropriate sink is available and used exclusively for cleaning and sanitizing toys.- The mop sink is not used for any toy cleaning activities under any circumstances.The shelves in the classroom were lined with cardboards. Cardboards cannot be easily cleaned. Please remove them.
    • 19. Are indoor play areas and equipment sufficient and being properly maintained to ensure client safety (Critical)?
      • Improper toy cleaning procedure observed. Towels were seen on the floor being used to dry toys. While toys are being cleaned, they are not being sanitized with a sanitizer.Please ensure the following:- A written toy cleaning procedure is in place.- Toys are sanitized with a sanitizer after the cleaning and rinsing steps.- Towels are not used to dry toys. Use a silicone mat instead.
    • 25. Are there adequate storage areas sufficient for the operation of the facility?
      • Storage for children's personal belongings is inadequate. Storage hooks are not installed in the classroom, resulting in a lack of designated space for children's items.Please ensure the following:- Adequate space is provided to store children's personal belongings.
    • 31. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this child care facility (Critical)?
      • An almost empty bottle labeled as Oxivir Tb was seen.Please ensure the following:- A sanitizer that can be regularly tested for efficacy is available and used to sanitize toys and counter surfaces.- If Oxivir Tb is used, staff must follow the required rinsing step after sanitizing toys, as per product guidelines.
