- Staff wipe up spills. Discussed using soap and water first. Then, use bleach water mixture to disinfect food contact surfaces. Staff use hot water to clean out slushie machines. Discussed using an approved sanitizer such as bleach after cleaning machine with soapy water. Lastly, air dry appropriately. Please purchase chlorine (bleach) test strips from a food or chemical supplier.
