    • 05. Do food handlers refrain from handling food while ill and have acceptable attire and hygiene?
      • **Food handlers are not performing hand hygiene: There was no soap at the hand sink at the front food prep area. The cook was asked where she washes her hands and she said, "Washroom sink". I took a look at the washroom sink and it was dry, suggesting the sink had not been used.**At one-point during the inspection, the same cook was observed to perform handwashing using the hand sink at the back for just about 5 seconds, without using soap. The sink had no soap as well.ACTION REQUIRED:1) Ensure that staff are performing proper handwashing. Attached to this report is a poster for proper handwashing.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • **There was no soap at the front food prep hand sink**No soap at the back hand sink in the pizza prep area.** Staff using the washroom sink as the main handwashing sink. A staff who started her shift during the inspection went to the washroom for handwashing.ACTION REQUIRED:1) Ensure that all handwashing sinks are supplied with soap in a proper dispenser.2) The washroom sink shall not be used as the main handwashing sink.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • **Pest control records are not up to date. The last pest control record was in 2023.- Pest proofing was adequate.ACTION REQUIRED:1) Keep updated pest control records.2) Close the open ceiling tiles on the hallway near the back exit.
