Jan 15, 2026- Used equipment (file and bits) were left on the service carts by the pedicure chairs. **Immediately remove used tools after client service, discard single-use files that were used by client and reprocess drill bits in the designated reprocessing sink)Feb 04, 2026--Manicure station - counter surfaces lined with a clear plastic had powdery residue on surfaces-Waxing room- warmer unit for wax -had residue on outer surfaces of unit. The counter where the warmer unit was placed was greasy, with old stains.**Ensure proper cleaning is done on work stations after each client, wiping down environmental surfaces with a low level disinfectant.

    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Alcohol used to disinfect pedicure chairs. Alcohol is not permitted as a surface disinfectant. Ensure a low level disinfectant is used to disinfect high touch/customer contact surfaces.
    • 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
      • Operators are reusing and storing used popsicle sticks in foot scrub. Ensure popsicle sticks are one time use and discarded after.
