- *** Reusable metal drill bits were not transported to the reprocessing area to be cleaned and disinfected.Corrective Actions:- Ensure all reusable equipment is transported to the reprocessing area after each client service to prevent contamination of clean, unused equipment.

- *** Reusable metal drill bits were visibly dirty with nail dust and were kept at manicure stations. Corrective Actions:- Ensure all reusable semi-critical equipment is taken to the reprocessing area, to be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed, and dried, then disinfected with a high level disinfectant according to the manufacturer's instructions for use.

- General sanitation of the facility was satisfactory, however the immediate area where the client service is provided in the waxing room was not visibly clean. *** Personal items such as water flosser, toothbrush, toothpaste, dirty food processor, printer, kettle, food, and drinks were stored on the countertop around the handwashing sink in the waxing room.Corrective Actions:- Remove all personal, incompatible items from the waxing room. The client service area must be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
