    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • **Tools (black head removal tools and microdermabrasion tips) were not being immersed in the disinfectant for proper disinfection. The operator was just spraying them with PREempt RTU after cleaning the tools.The operator was educated to follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, which required the tools to be soaked in the disinfectant for 3 minutes.

      • Used clients' beddings and towels were observed on client's surfaces/beds. The operator stated that she was yet to clean after the past weekend work. No client was scheduled at the day of inspection. Please ensure all beddings and towels placed on client's surfaces are changed in between clients. Non-absorbent client beds must also be disinfected in-between clients.
