- **Tools (black head removal tools and microdermabrasion tips) were not being immersed in the disinfectant for proper disinfection. The operator was just spraying them with PREempt RTU after cleaning the tools.The operator was educated to follow the manufacturer's instructions for use, which required the tools to be soaked in the disinfectant for 3 minutes.

- 33. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Non-Critical)?
- Used clients' beddings and towels were observed on client's surfaces/beds. The operator stated that she was yet to clean after the past weekend work. No client was scheduled at the day of inspection. Please ensure all beddings and towels placed on client's surfaces are changed in between clients. Non-absorbent client beds must also be disinfected in-between clients.

- **The operator is using a 70% alcohol for disinfecting non-critical tools (blackhead removal tools and scissors used to trim eyebrows prior to threading). The alcohol container had no label information. It was explained to the operator that alcohol is not an approved disinfectant unless it has a NPN/DIN number and a disinfectant claim on the label.ACTION REQUIRED1) Purchase a proper low-level disinfectant.
