While the distillation process can remove a number of chemical contaminants, it does not guarantee that the water is free from microbes. Corrective action: If you wish to continue using water to dilute tattoo inks, it must be sterile at the point of use. Alternatively, the mixing agent that was available onsite can be used exclusively going forward.

      • 1) Lighting is inadequate in the client service area.Corrective Action:Ensure there is adequate lighting to facilitate cleaning of environmental surfaces, reprocessing of reusable equipment, inspecting the integrity and cleanliness of equipment, providing personal services in a manner that does not cause injury, assessing the cleanliness of hands for hand hygiene, and assessing the appearance of the client's skin, hair, nails, teeth, and body as applicable to the personal service being offered. 2) There are surfaces in the client service area that are not smooth, non-porous and easily cleanable including 2 chairs (cloth/mesh material) and a fabric pillow.Corrective Action:- Replace these so that they are smooth, non-porous and easily cleanable.or- Remove them from the client service area.
