    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • 1) Lochleigh shelf above dishwasher and upper shelf to right of fridge were damaged. This has been repaired with puck board but puckboard is peeling. Lochleigh garbage drawer is also in disrepair. Middleton shelf/cabinet above dishwasher is also in disrepair. Repair or replace. 2) Lochleigh ceiling tiles in kitchenette are water damaged. Remove and replace. Kitchenette cabinetry is starting to wear in general. Major refinishing or replacement may be required in a few years. Shelves above dishwashers and below sinks are subject to increased moisture leading to water damage. Ensure to monitor these in other cottages for swelling. Putting dishes and cups away wet may also increase this damage- ensure racks are air dried before putting away in cupboards. New floor in walk in cooler and new vinyl tiles look great in main kitchen.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Cooler has been cleaned except for fire sprinklers which are going to be professionally cleaned. Area behind fire suppression was cleaned. Pictures sent. 2) Cooler in main kitchen had large amount of dust on fire sprinkler. Clean up dust.
