- 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
- -The back door had a gap along the bottom. This will allow for pests, such as mice and insects to enter the facility. This gap must be sealed, so that when the door is fully closed, there is no visible light shining through.-There were no sticky traps/glue boards or mouse traps used for monitoring pests. Have these placed in strategic areas, such as on the floor along the wall, under shelves, in corners, in crevices, etc. Check these traps frequently as a way to monitor pest activity. -Keep a record of the pest monitoring/control measures you conduct.
