      • The gate to the Kinder OSC room was exposed wood. Please finish so that the surface is smooth and cleanable.

      • Fridge temperatures were observed to be too warm. Kinder/OSC 8-12C.

    • 06. Are proper protocols being followed in regards to client care?
      • Diapering was observed to be performed in the toddler room. Change table with supplies is present in the room, however, no hand sink is present by the table. Please remove the diapering table from this area. Diapering must be performed near a hand sink so that adequate handwashing can occur following diapering.
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Baby Room - the crib railing on the light brown crib was loose. Repair required.2) Toddler Room - Purple fabric couches were observed to be dirty. Please clean.3) Some sleeping mats in the preschool room were observed to be torn and require replacement. Surfaces should be smooth and cleanable.
    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • Preschool Room - The faucet was loose at the hand sink in the preschool room.
    • 27. Are proper measures being taken to ensure that vermin do not enter or exist in the facility (Non-Critical)?
      • Dead cockroaches were observed on a sticky trap in the preschool room. Staff advised ECOPEST is treating the facility monthly. Please provide pest control reports for the past three months and continue to maintain treatments.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • 1) Paper towel throughout the rooms was not present in the dispensers. The paper towel in the toddler room did not have a dispenser.2) Girls washroom - toilet paper was not available in some stalls.3) Boys washroom - the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall in the right bathroom stall.
