- 13. Is single-use or uncleanable equipment being used as intended (Critical)?
- Cardboard/foam nail files were being placed in plastic ziploc bags and given to clients. Clients were advised to bring back to facility for next appointment. Re-iterated that cardboard/foam nail files are porous and required to discarded after each use and/or given to client but not be brought back to facility for use during next appointement.
- 15. Is reusable equipment handled and stored properly (Critical)?
- Clients were being provided with used metal rotary drill bits placed in a ziploc bag and told to bring back for their next appointment. Metal rotary drill bits are semi-critical tools. Re-iterated proper cleaning/disinfection protocols. Advised operator not to provide reuseable tools to clients to bring back for next appointment.

- Re-iterated proper cleaning/disinfection protocols for semi-critical equipement.

- Numerous 1L bottles of expired PreEmpt CS20 were removed from the facility upon request at the time of inspection. Advised operator to take to an Eco-Station for proper disposal.A 1L bottle of expired PreEmpt RTU was removed from the facility upon request at the time of inspection.Numerous expired AHP7 indicator test strips were removed from the facility upon request at the time of inspection.
- 26. Are cosmetic products appropriate for their intended use and being handled properly?
- Decanted cosmetic products were labelled with its contents at the time of inspection. Re-iterated the requirement to keep the original/bulk supply on-site to verify labelling requirements.
