    • 03. Are facility-specific written procedures established to adequately describe safe and sanitary practices?
      • Facility specific written procedures, for skin cleansing, accidental cuts and punctures were not maintained by the facility.Written templates were provided during the inspection for reference.
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • Facility was using the high-level disinfectant Pre-empt CS20 for semi-critical instruments, however staff was not maintaining the HLD logs and testing the HLD on daily basis.Copy of HLD log was provided during the inspection.Make sure to test the HLD on routine basis and maintain the logs.based on HLD of choice by the facility, AHP7 is recommended test strips.Follow manufacturer's instruction for use of test strips.
    • 25. Are the equipment manufacturer's instructions for use of specific equipment available and followed?
      • The equipment manufacturer's instructions for laser device (Android smart Depi) were not accessible in the laser room.Electronic copy was available at the front desk area.Facility manager made sure to keep it at accessible place, for staff reference.Follow manufacturer's instruction for use of energy emitting device.
