      • A staff cell phone was sitting on a prep table.Ensure staff belongings are kept separate and away from food/ food areas.
    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • - Raw chicken was kept at room temperature (measured at 12C). Staff said it was being prepped and then customers came in and so food was left until customers were attended to.- Scallop were thawing in stagnant water (measured at 6C).Please store food in the cooler if staff are not able to immediately prep it. Do not thaw high risk foods in stagnant water. Safe thawing practices are in a cooler at 4C or less; fully submerged under cold running water; microwaved and cooked immediately afterwards; and cooked from frozen.
    • 12. Are there adequate and properly operating dish washing facilities to effectively clean and sanitize equipment and utensils (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • - Chlorine test strips expired July 2025 Please get new test strips.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • - Slow cooker insert with non stick coating is worn away in multiple areas. The surface below is brown. The insert does not appear to be in good condition.Please repair or replace.
