    • 10. Are food temperatures during storage and processing being controlled to maximize food safety?
      • High-risk foods like cheese were measured at 9C in a cooler. The operator relocated the cheese and chopped vegetables to a different cooler. The operator was instructed to follow company policy regarding the gluten-free bread but was informed that it should be stored in the cooler.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control records were not available. Please keep pest control records onsite for review.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • A cooler that contained high-risk foods was not maintaining a temperature of 4C. The operator explained that the cooler will be repaired soon. Please ensure that the cooler is properly functioning and maintaining a temperature of 4C or below.

      • -During the inspection, one spatula with oil and grease on it was observed on the air drying area (where cleaned and sanitized equipment are stored).Action taken:- Staff was advised to properly clean and sanitize all the equipment after use.
