      • Dirty and stained rags were being stored on faucets and handles of coolers.Ensure wiping cloths are properly laundered and are not reused when dirty. Ensure a sanitizer is available when in operation.

      • Chairs that had peeling pleather was noted to be stored inside the kitchen.Ensure items not associated with food handling is not stored in the kitchen.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • There was no paper towel in the men's washroom.Ensure all hand sinks are always stocked with soap and paper towel.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • Pest control reports were not onsite for review.Ensure monthly pest control reports are onsite upon request.

      • Paper towel was not in a dispenser and could be contaminated with it sitting on counters and being handled. Place paper towel in a dispenser to protect it from contamination.
    • 22. Are utensils and equipment maintained in a condition and a manner that ensures the safe handling of food?
      • Multiple shot glasses were noted to have chips/ cracks on the bottom. One shot glass had a plastic chip fall off while the public health inspector was looking at them.Ensure equipment/ utensils are in good repair. Repair or dispose of anything that is not in good repair.

      • In house pest control monitoring conducted monthly. Quarterly, a hired pest control company comes to monitor as well. Please keep records onsite for verification. Some mouse droppings were found adjacent to the beverage cooler. Please clean and monitor for activity.The front exterior doors had minor gaps at the bottom, please repair or replace doors to ensure there are no gaps present.
    • 19. Does the facility have a valid permit and does the facility operate in compliance with the conditions of that permit, or is the facility awaiting approval prior to operation?
      • Please post permit in an area visible to the public.

      • The beverage cooler handle had some minor buildup of dried food. Please clean.

      • Iodine test strips were not available.Ensure test strips are available to measure each sanitizer concentrations.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Hand sink in the kitchen did not have soap. Corrected during inspection. There was no soap at the bar hand sink. Ensure all hand sinks are stocked with soap and paper towel.

      • Pest control records were not available.Ensure written monthly pest control records are available upon request.

      • - Quat dispenser was not dispensing at 200ppm - Chlorine dishwasher was not sanitizing at 100ppm Ensure the above pieces of equipment are fixed and dispensing the appropriate concentration of sanitizer.
