      • Please ensure pest control and monitoring is done on a monthly basis and records are kept

      • What appears to be flour beetles noted. Ensure contaminated product is discarded. Please ensure pest control is done on a monthly basis.
    • 21. Is the facility properly constructed and maintained in a state of good repair to allow for the safe and sanitary handling of food?
      • Some areas in the bar area noted to be needing repair. Please ensure all areas are in good repair and impervious to moisture.
    • 23. Is the facility maintained in a clean and sanitary condition?
      • Some areas noted to be needing organization. Areas were discussed with operator. Please ensure extra cleaning and organizing is completed as discussed onsite.

    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • -Some chemical bottles were stored along with the food items on the shelves in the back dry storage area. Action taken:-Staff was instructed to store the chemical bottles separately from the food storage.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • -Evidence of pest activity observed during the inspection (approximately 5-10 roaches observed on the sticky tapes), and one dead mouse observed on one of the sticky traps.Action required:-Please continue to work with pest control company and take corrective actions. Deeply clean the kitchen and seal all the gaps, holes if any.

      • -Some of the wooden shelves in the kitchen were made of raw wood (absorbent, non-easily cleanable).-Some of the shelves were damaged.Action required:-Please ensure that all the raw wooden shelves are painted/resurfaced to make them durable, smooth, easily cleanable. -Please repair the damaged shelves.
