- Beef and barley soup was found to be at 43 C. Staff updated that the dial on the heating unit is not working at all times.Therefore, the hot holder may need to be serviced or repaired to ensure that the unit is able to maintain the temperature of soups at or above 60 C. Beef and barley soup was discarded at the time of inspection.Please ensure that frequent temperature checks are conducted, and the results recorded.

- REPEAT VIOLATION :The ceiling tiles above the oven in the front of the facility are burnt from the heat escaping from the oven, resulting in fraying bits of plastic or other material hanging loosely from the ceiling. Please repair or replace the tiles and surrounding areas so that small pieces of burnt material are no longer hanging off the ceiling. You may also want to make modifications to the oven, so the heat does not damage the ceiling in the future. Staff updated that the major renovation for the whole facility is scheduled tentatively, in the next few weeks.Please update our office about completion of this pending item.
