    • 04. Does the operator use approved methods for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces?
      • 1) Prepared bleach solution in bucket was used for sanitizing the surfaces.Bleach solution was measured to be highly concentrated.Discussed the appropriate concentration with staff.Resource for mixing an approved sanitizer would be shared.2) The bleach solution was stored in unlabeled bottle.Bottle was labeled during the inspection.
    • 08. Do food handlers ensure that food is protected from contamination (unless noted elsewhere)(Non-Critical)?
      • Distorted soda cans and water bottles with broken seal were observed in the food storage area.Staff confirmed that these are placed in separate bins for return to the supplier.Make sure to label the bins to indicate that "These products are not for customer sale".Staff confirmed that signage will be posted, as discussed.
    • 13. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) accessible to food handlers, located in suitable areas, and stocked with appropriate hand washing supplies?
      • Paper towel was not available for hand drying near the handwashing sink.Paper towel was brought in during the inspection.Note: Kindly ensure to store the paper towel in proper dispenser to avoid any cross contamination.
    • 16. Is the facility free of unapproved animals, vermin and/or insects (unless noted elsewhere), and maintained to prevent the entry or harbourage of pests?
      • The weather stripping for the exit door was in disrepair.Make sure to replace/repair the weather stripping to make it vermin proof.Gaps in exterior doors can be entry point for pest entry.
