    • 33. Are general nuisance conditions, other than those noted in other violations, being prevented at this personal services facility (Non-Critical)?
      • The facial steamer has a build-up of scale on the element, indicating that the machine may not be routinely cleaned or maintained, or that non-distilled water is being added.REQUIREMENT: Ensure that the machine is routinely cleaned. Non-distilled water should not be used if water remains in the container for long periods, as potential microbial growth could occur.

      • The facility was re-using Preempt HLD5 over it's reuse period without having test strips or maintaining a high-level disinfection log.REQUIREMENT: Do not re-use poured disinfectant unless used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions (i.e. test and record the results daily). Alternatively, discard the poured solution daily.
