- Hand sink was equipped with soap, however, there were no paper towels close by. The paper towel dispenser was present however, uninstalled. Install a paper towel holder. Hot and cold water were present.

- Hand sink was removed to install new wall tiles. In the interim, staff was asked to use the two compartment sink. A jug of detergent was asked to be placed in the sink for use. Paper towels were nearby.

- Minor mouse droppings were found in the room with the slurpee machine. Operator indicated that it would be cleaned up.

- The handles of the metal cabinet had buildup of dried batter. Focus on cleaning these areas frequently.

- Two cutting knives are observed to be stored between the dishwashing sink and the wall. Ensure utensils are stored in a clean and sanitary manner such as in a container or on a knife magnet. The operator removed the knives during the inspection.

- No thermometer is observed in the small cooler beneath the counter at the front service area. Ensure that the indicated cooler is equipped with a thermometer.

- No written pest control record is observed. Ensure that a written pest control record is completed and maintained. The AHS Pest Control Checklist is provided to the operator during the inspection.

- The wooden board beside the mop sink is observed to be in disrepair. Ensure that surfaces remain in a smooth, durable, moisture-resistant and easily cleanable condition. The operator removed the indicated wooden board during the inspection.

- Hand sink in the main kitchen was missing soap and paper towels at the start of the inspection. It was corrected during inspection. Ensure soap and paper towels are readily available at all times. Should the dispensers become empty, replenish supplies right away. The hand sink handles had a buildup of grease, ensure it is cleaned frequently throughout the day to prevent hands becoming re-contaminated. Hand sink drain was draining slower than normally. Please repair the sink drain to ensure it drains properly and normally.

- Mouse droppings were found in the dry storage room. Please clean droppings. Increase placement of pest control traps and remove unnecessary items such as unused appliances/equipment/hockey sticks. It can help improve cleaning and reduce harboring.

- The condensers in the walk in cooler were dripping water and bins were used to catch the drippings. It appeared the pipes were disconnected from the fans/units. To prevent cross contamination, ensure the units are properly connected.
