      • 1. Fabric couches observed, one in each classroom. Inspector discussed with operator options of covering the couch or replacing the couch with a smooth-non-porous, easy-to-clean surface.2. chair set for kids observed with the impervious fabric portion torn and no longer in good repair. Please repair or replace kids chair set to ensure surfaces are smooth, non-porous and easy to clean.

      • Staff member was observed not washing her hands in between changing gloves when diapering children. Please ensure routine handwashing is occurring after changing gloves, diapers, before and after food services, etc.

      • Some pieces of paneling have fallen off the wall in the bears room. Please reinstall the paneling so walls are smooth, non-absorbent and easily cleanable.

      • Two containers of chemicals were left on the counter in a children's washroom within easy reach of a child. Staff removed the chemicals.

      • 1. a broken TV screen was on the floor in the fox room and staff indicated it was for a project. Screen had missing parts, was shattered and had sharp edges. TV was disposed of during inspection 2. Trays were pushed into the kitchen propping the door open and leaving the kitchen accessible to children. Push trays into the kitchen so door closes and children don't have access to the kitchen or leftover foods.

    • 22. Is the plumbing system adequate and being properly maintained (Non-Critical)?
      • The sink in one washroom did not have the hot water on to it. Staff adjusted the faucet water during inspection.Ensure hand sinks are supplied with both hot and cold water under pressure to a maximum temp of 54 C.
    • 29. Are washrooms / bathing facilities properly constructed, maintained and supplied (Non-Critical)?
      • One washroom had 2 missing toilet paper holders and one broken holder. Ensure all bathroom stalls are provided with toilet paper in dispensers.
