The presence of pests may result in the contamination of surfaces and materials and indicates that effective pest control measures are not being fully maintained.Ensure effective pest control measures are implemented and maintained to eliminate ant activity and prevent the harborage and entry of pests into the facility. Continue to monitor the area and take corrective action as required.Ant traps were present in the facility at the time of inspection.

      • Staff are using the kitchen as a break room and a couch and coffee table for staff with items unassociated with food handling were present in the kitchen. The surface of the couch cannot be cleaned and sanitized. Please remove items from the kitchen that are not associated with cooking.

      • No pest control measures are being recorded.Pest control monitoring and record keeping is required as a preventative measure to control the entry of pests and rodents. A template will be provided that can be completed monthly.
