      • Following concerns were noted:The small kitchenette in the childcare room on the main floor had knives stored in a drawer that was accessible to children.Discussed with the operator that knives must be stored in a location that is inaccessible to children. Alternatively, the drawer must be secured with an effective childproof locking mechanism..
    • 18. Is the facility and equipment being maintained in a suitable manner (Non-Critical)?
      • Multiple floor tiles were observed to be chipped and/or cracked in Kinder room.-Replace or repair the damaged floor tiles.The coaxial outlet located on the south-facing wall was not securely fastened to the wall.Ensure to repair the indicated outlet.A hole was observed in the south-facing wall of the Kinder Room. Repair the wall to maintain the area in good condition and prevent potential injury to children.Several shelving units in the Kinder Room had damaged exterior surfaces with the laminate/finish peeling away, exposing the unfinished material underneath. The exposed surfaces may present a splinter hazard to children.- Repair or replace the damaged shelving units to ensure they are maintained in a safe condition.

      • -Bleach solution in the kinder room was highly concentrated.Vilation was corrected during the inspection by preparing the fresh solution measured and verified at 100 ppm.-Sanitizer bottle in the kinder room was not labelled.Indicated bottle was labelled during the inspection.

      • Paper towel was stored on the bathroom counter in children bathroom on main floor.Ensure to place the paper towels in the covered container or paper towel dispenser to avoid potential cross contamination.

      • 1. A common disinfectant spray bottle was used to disinfectant diapering mat and other surfaces. Please ensure there is a dedicated spray bottle for disinfecting the diapering mat.2. Cleaning rag was on top of the bleach bottle. Please ensure the following:- cleaning rags are used only once and then disposed of or laundered. This prevents cross-contamination and bacterial spread. Violations were corrected onsite.

      • Some chemicals were stored in cupboards in upstairs rooms. - Remove the chemicals or install a child proof lock on the cupboards.
    • 09. Are properly operating hand washing sink(s) available in suitable location(s), and properly stocked with handwashing supplies?
      • Paper towels were stored directly on surfaces and not in a dispenser/holder at handsinks in upstairs room and in the kitchenette. - Provide paper towel dispenser/ holder at each handsink to prevent contamination of paper towels. - Do not use reusable towels.
