- The door to the unit was propped open and no screen was present to reduce the amount of pests entering. If opening the door for ventilation or other reasons, a screen must be provided.JULY 10, 2026:As discussed, encouraged the owner to consider a mesh type screen over the door entrance - installed via velcro and has bar magnets on each side of the mesh to easily open/shut close. These types of screens can be purchased on-line (e.g. - Amazon) and would be an option for your mobile food truck to reduce the chance of insects (such as flies) from entering the food truck and potentially contaminating the food.
