      • The following needs to be included on the client record involving morpheus 8 or microneedling services: -The lot code and expiry date of the single use needling tips used for client on day of service
    • 20. Is reusable equipment disinfected properly?
      • The isopropyl alcohol product used onsite does not have a DIN (LaPalm brand). Replace with isopropyl alcohol with a DIN to use on devices whereby the manufacturer's instruction require medicinal alcohol to disinfect

      • The following written procedures were not available onsite for review:1. written procedures for client care in the event for accidental skin cut or puncture 2. written procedures for cleansing of skin/mucous and antiseptic products when service involves skin puncturing3. full list of post service instructions for services involving energy emitting or skin puncturing (microneedling/morpheus 8)

      • The following needs to be included on the client record involving morpheus 8 or microneedling services: -BOTH the lot code and expiry date of the single use needling tips used for client on day of service

      • 1. Hydrogen peroxide and 70% alchohol used do not have DIN on product label2. Manufacturer's instructions not onsite to confirm the cleaning/disinfection instructions for each device
    • 25. Are the equipment manufacturer's instructions for use of specific equipment available and followed?
      • At time of inspection, manager could not locate the manufacturer's instructions onsite for the equipment: laser, cryolipolysis,ems, morpheus 8, and other microneedling equipment
